So my Halo Reach arrived today in the mail. Cracked it out and fired it up. Noticed the more extensive way to customize your character. For me a new earning ability in which you will need to earn credits to buy what you want.
Set myself to Heroic - didn't think after a 3 year layoff I was ready for Legendary!
Worked my way through the first section. Getting a bunch of head shots, and a good number of sticks along the way. Left pretty good after the first 3 or 4 checkpoints. As expected the first level starts a bit slow. Larger areas to move through before any action begins. Once the enemies show, it is the brawl you LOVE. Switching weapons, targeting with the pistol, tossing timed grenades. Graphics are detailed and sharp, no slow down as the increasing number of enemies poor onto the screen. Story seems to be unfolding well. I generally tend to play the solo all the way through before I get on-line and battle, but I don't think I am going to wait this time.
More tomorrow - I may have jumped on-line tonight and will give you details of how that played out.
