Dell takes a new angle. Instead of just hitting Apple head on at retail they have taken another direction.
In addition to launching the consumer version of the Streak Tablet, Dell will attempt to get it in the hands of Doctors. They have incorporated their established healthcare software enabling doctors to easily retrieve patient electronics medical records and patient information as they do their daily routine.
Dell feels they also have an advantage for Doctors with the 2 cameras in the device allowing Doctors to record images and easily upload them to patient records.
Health industry has become a major focus for Dell, we will see how this plays out.
